The Construction Chemistry 2023 doctoral seminar took place on the grounds of the European Youth Education and Meeting Centre in Weimar. Nine doctoral students used this opportunity to exchange scientific ideas and present their doctoral topics. In addition to the scientific exchange, the programme included a barbecue evening, an afternoon walk to famous Bauhaus sites, a visit to the "Schmale Handtuch" (a Weimar institution where beer has been tapped for thirsty people - including many students - for more than 100 years) and a guided tour of the laboratories of the Chair of Construction Chemistry and Polymeric Materials, which are equipped with state-of-the-art testing and analysis technology.
