The Senior Experts in Chemistry (SEC) have been a specialist group of the German Chemical Society since 2010. Updated Bylaws came into force in June 2024. The General Assembly of the SEC takes place at least every two years, usually in conjunction with an annual meeting.
The Executive Board of the SEC consists of five members and is supplemented by co-opted members. Two working groups currently deal with the topics public relations and school, education and careers. The minutes of the meetings of the Executive Board and working groups are available to members of the SEC in the protected area of "MyGDCh".
