Benefits for student members of the LChG

The LChG Board would like to make membership of our society even more attractive, especially for young colleagues, over and above the many benefits it already offers. It has therefore decided that new student members will receive a one-off free ticket to the German Food Chemists' Day for the duration of their student membership of the LChG. This will allow them to choose the year of their participation in the Food Chemists' Conference. This is intended to make it easier for young scientists to gain their first experience of scientific conferences and make the first contacts that are essential for a successful career later on.

In addition, the funding initiative "Wissenschaft im Studium" was launched in 2016. This initiative introduces students to science in the early stages of their education by financially supporting their participation in the Food Chemists' Day. In addition, the participants can be accompanied by experienced AG JLC members at the Food Chemists' Day if they wish. This is organised by the AG JLC.
