Within the GDCh, the Public Relations Working Group strengthens the networks between Senior Experts in Chemistry (SEC) and the GDCh and promotes cooperation between SEC members through the following activities:

• Birthday letter. All GDCh members celebrating a milestone birthday between 60 and 70 will receive a congratulatory email in which the SEC's activities are also promoted.
• SEC questionnaire. We have created a questionnaire especially for active senior chemists so that we can better align our activities with their expectations.
• Newsletter. About four times a year, the SEC provides information about its projects and activities (SEC Newsletter).
• Excursions. The SEC Technology Tours lead to interesting companies - usually in combination with a cultural programme.
