Who we are - What we do

The FFCh is the professional group of freelance chemists and owners of independent laboratories.

In contrast to many other structures of the GDCh, the FFCh is a professionally mixed group. You can find out more about the companies, orientation and specialisation of the individual members in the members' area.

Our unifying elements are our entrepreneurial independence and the high standards we set for the quality of our services. These are, for example:

  • Laboratory services: Sampling, analyses, evaluation, consulting and everything that belongs to the field of analytics
  • Expert opinions: by publicly appointed and sworn experts, commercial chemists, safety experts and others
  • Consulting: from the development of new products and technologies to safety and the optimisation of operational processes
  • Other services: Research, documentation, production, training and much more

The specialist group pursues the goals of scientific exchange and further training. To this end, regular training events and member meetings are held. We also encourage chemists to set up their own businesses by providing information and support.

As members, we find professional and personal support in the group, cooperate on projects and benefit from mutual exchange.
