Who we are - What we do
The Young Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology (jUCÖT; founded in April 2021) is the youth organisation of the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology. It represents the interests of the young members of the division, supports them in networking on a common platform and works closely with the division's executive committee. Since January 2023, there has been an elected jUCÖT board, which sends members to the meetings of the specialist group board and actively participates in the work of the specialist group, e.g. in the planning and organisation of conferences and awards ceremonies. One of the core tasks of jUCÖT is the organisation of supra-regional events, such as the annual Young Environmental Forum (JUF) and the Perspektiventage.
All student and junior members of the specialist group are automatically members of jUCÖT. If you are interested in actively participating in jUCÖT, please send an email to jucoet@go.gdch.de. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!
