Excursions of the GDCh Construction Chemistry Section

The Construction Chemistry Division supports group excursions as part of training at universities with a maximum grant of 500 euros per institute and per year (max. 50 euros per student). The excursions must be clearly related to construction chemistry.Applications must be submitted informally by the organising institution with a brief description of the content to the GDCh office (Dr. Lisa Pecher).

After approval by the board of the Construction Chemistry Division, the following documents are required:

  • Cost overview and proof of costs with original receipts
  • Address of the recipient
  • Bank details

The amount will be paid out after submission of the required documents

Excursion 2019: BASF Construction Solutions GmbH and Wacker Chemie AG

On 4 and 5 April 2019, 15 students from 10 university locations accepted the invitation to Trostberg and Burghausen. In lectures, discussions, lab tours and site visits, they learnt a great deal about the "construction chemicals" working environment in the industry and had plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas with BASF and Wacker employees
