Standardisation Coordinator of the Water Chemical Society
The development of standardised analytical methods for the testing of water was one of the founding objectives of the Water Chemical Society and has been pursued since 1928 in the committee set up specifically for this purpose. Together with the DIN German Institute for Standardisation, the committee is responsible for the development and maintenance of the German Standard Methods for the Analysis of Water, Wastewater and Sludge (DEV).
