Process analytics working group

The Working Group Process Analytics (AK PAT) was founded on 31 March 2005 and is a working group of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry with close professional ties to DECHEMA Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie e.V. (Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology). The working group deals with the automated analysis of ingredients and process conditions in the process industry and the processing industry directly on or in the process flows. The regional focus is the DACH region, but regular exchange with the European PAT community is also maintained.

Process analytics award

The Process Analytics Award is presented annually for the best qualification work in the field of process analytics in the previous year. A prize committee of the extended AK board selects the winner from the applications. The prize consists of a certificate, prize money of 1000 euros and a two-year free membership of the GDCh or DECHEMA.

Siemens Process Analytics Award

The Siemens Prize is awarded every three years to a young scientist as part of the EuroPACT conference and is endowed with 3000 euros by Siemens. A prize committee of the working group decides on the winner in the run-up to the event. The prize is awarded for an outstanding publication.
