Working Group on Analysis with Radionuclides and High Power Radiation Sources (ARH)

The Working Group on Analysis with Radionuclides and High Power Radiation Sources is organised by the Specialist Group Nuclear Chemistry and the Specialist Group Analytical Chemistry . The working group aims to promote and use radionuclides for the quality assurance of analytical procedures and analysis with large-scale equipment.

Aims and tasks

  • Scientific dissemination of methodology, knowledge transfer and exchange of experience
  • Coordination and stimulation of analytical work with radioactive substances
  • Utilisation of radioanalytical methods by improving access to irradiation facilities, measuring equipment and isotope laboratories
  • Facilitating access to high-power radiation sources
  • Contributing to quality assurance and validation in analytics
  • Maintaining and intensifying contacts with other scientific associations
  • Conducting scientific conferences and meetings
